The Chaldean Community Foundation (CCF) improves the stability, health, and wellness of those we serve through advocacy, acculturation, community development and cultural preservation.

The Chaldean Community Foundation and Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce is seeking a full-time Accountant/Bookkeeper to join its Farmington Hills location.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable functions for multiple entities including:
-Vendor and customer management.
-Applying and recording of payments received from customers/donors.
-Entering bills and sending payments out to vendors.
• Manage billing for events, membership, and subscriptions.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Balance general ledger and reconcile entries.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Work in multiple software that integrate with QuickBooks to properly record payments received.
• Manage requests, sourcing, and ordering of supplies.
• Manage and track all donations and issue acknowledgement letters to donors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred. Associate degree with relevant experience will be considered.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Must have strong knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Strong reporting skills.
• Nonprofit experience preferred but not required.
