ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE

PROJECT BISMUTHA

The Chaldean Community Foundation in affiliation with the Chaldean American Association for Health Professionals (CAAHP) provides free and low-cost medical services for uninsured Iraqi Christians through Project Bismutha. CAAHP’s compassionate care of volunteer healthcare professionals offer medical services with access to affordable prescription medication. Laboratory work is provided by Ascension. Project Bismutha is open to eligible adult members of the Metro Detroit Iraqi Christian community who are:

  • 18 years of age and older
  • Medically uninsured
  • Meet the financial eligibility guidelines
  • Not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare
  • Legal residents of the United States

Available Services include:

  • Primary and preventative healthcare
  • Maintenance of chronic health challenges
  • Medication Access
  • Lab Services
