The Hey U Vote campaign was launched in 2017 by the CCF to aid individuals with voter registration
All Sterling Heights residents can now cast their ballot at the Chaldean Community Foundation during the early voting period.
Early voting period: Saturday, October 19- Sunday, November 1, 2026

Important information about the November 3, General Election:
- Last day to register to vote by mail or online October 19, 2026
- New voter registrations are required in person for November election October 20-November 3, 2026
- Voters can request an Absent Voter (AV) ballot online at Michigan.gov/Vote
(Recommendation ASAP) - If a voter wishes to have their absent voter ballot mailed to their address, the Absent Voter Ballot Application must be received by the clerk no later than 5 p.m. on the Friday prior to the election.
- Absentee ballots must be received by a voter’s local clerk’s office by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted, with the exception of military and overseas ballots which must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by their local clerk within 6 days after the election in order to be counted.
To register to vote, you must be:
- A U.S. Citizen
- A Michigan resident for at least 30 days before Election Day

At least 17.5 years old (18 by Election Day)
- Not currently serving a sentence in jail or prison
