MICHAEL J. GEORGE CHALDEAN LOAN FUND (CLF)
Need-based program, designed to provide low-interest loans to community members for the purpose of purchasing used vehicles or starting a small business.
Qualification Details
To qualify, loan candidates must:
- Be a refugee, asylee, or lawful permanent resident or U.S. Citizen residing in Michigan.
- Have a job.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Provide a co-borrower.
To qualify for the fund’s small business loans, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a refugee, asylee, lawful permanent resident or U.S. Citizen residing in Michigan.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Have a job.
- Provide 2 co-borrowers.
- Provide a detailed business plan.
Loans are subject to approval by the Michael J. George Chaldean Loan Fund Committee.
