The Chaldean Community Foundation is a community-based organization dedicated to improving the stability, health, and wellness of those we serve through advocacy, acculturation, community development, and cultural preservation. Any violation of the Volunteer Code of Conduct will be subject to discipline and possible dismissal from the program.
A Volunteer Must:
• Strictly follow any agency policy or procedure.
• Cooperate with a manager.
• Obey all applicable local, state, and federal laws while acting on behalf of the Chaldean Community Foundation.
• Notify management if you have acquired or have been exposed to any harmful disease or contagious virus.
• Treat all staff members, clients, and other volunteers with respect, courtesy, and dignity.
• Act honestly and ethically while in the performance of their volunteer duties.
• Abide by the volunteer dress code.
A Volunteer Must Not:
• Use abusive language, discourtesy or rudeness towards staff members, clients, and other volunteers.
• Possess or use alcoholic beverages, legal or illegal drugs on Chaldean Community Foundation's property, other property that events are held, or report to the program while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Bring onto Chaldean Community Foundation’s property or other property that events are held, dangerous or unauthorized materials such as explosives, firearms, weapons, or any other similar items.
• Use verbal, physical, or visual harassment of staff members, clients, and other volunteers.
• Use actual or threatened violence towards any individual, group, staff members, clients, and other volunteers.
• Endanger the life, safety, health, or well-being of others.
• Bully any individual, group, staff members, clients, and other volunteers.
Prohibited Activities include, but are not necessarily limited to:
• Cannot offer or provide transportation to any client(s) in your personal vehicle.
• Cannot offer or give cash or cash equivalents to any client(s).
• Cannot receive or take gifts from a client.
• Cannot offer additional services outside the scope of work performed at the agency.
I agree to abide by the rules described above and understand that I may be removed from my volunteer assignments if I violate any of these rules.
