ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Chaldean Community Foundation’s Academic Scholarship Program is a collaborative effort between private philanthropic ventures and the Foundation to help Chaldean students meet the escalating costs of education. Our Scholarship program will reopen Summer 2023.

w3r Consulting

w3r Consulting provides two (2) $5,000 scholarships for candidates pursuing S.T.E.M. degrees, focused on the IT/Computer fields of study, with a GPA requirement of 3.0 or greater for Michigan-based Chaldean undergraduate (sophomores, juniors, seniors) students. w3r Consulting recognizes that the future of technology rests in the ability of our Chaldean youth to pursue higher education. w3r Consulting is awarding scholarships to Chaldean undergraduate students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.). This exciting program will assist Chaldean students, who are residents and attending Michigan colleges and universities, to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Yvonne Nona Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Yvonne Nona Memorial Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to Chaldean women pursuing higher education, including community college and university studies in preparation for a career in the field of their choice. The Yvonne Nona Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established in memory of the late Yvonne E. Nona. Education was always a big part of Yvonne’s life, and her lifetime wish was to be able to help women through the power of education! This exciting program will assist women, who are residents and attending specific Michigan colleges and universities to achieve their academic and professional goals. The Chaldean Community Foundation is happy to assist in creating this lasting legacy in Yvonne’s name while permanently improving the lives of fellow women who are in need.

Drs. Nathima and Peter Atchoo Family Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Drs. Nathima and Peter Atchoo Family Foundation scholarship provides financial assistance to Chaldean students pursuing higher education, including community college, university, and graduate studies in preparation for a career in the field of their choice. The Drs. Nathima and Peter Atchoo Family Foundation Scholarship was established to assist and encourage Chaldean students to continue their education beyond high school or beyond undergraduate studies. Drs. Nathima and Peter Atchoo Family Foundation proudly supports the Chaldean community through the power of education! This exciting scholarship opportunity will assist any Chaldean student seeking to attend a community college, university, or graduate school. The Chaldean Community Foundation is happy to assist in creating this legacy in Drs. Nathima and Peter Atchoo Family name while permanently improving the lives Chaldeans in need of financial assistance.

The Abdul Karim and Jameela Sesi Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Abdul Karim and Jameela Sesi Memorial Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to Chaldean students pursuing education beyond high school in preparation for a career in the field of their choice. This scholarship fund was established in memory of Abdul Karim and Jameela Sesi. This exciting fund will assist men and women who are residents and attending Michigan colleges, trade schools and universities, to achieve their academic and professional goals.  

DA Advisory Group Scholarship Fund

Provides financial assistance to Chaldean undergraduate students (sophomores, juniors, or seniors only) pursuing a degree in the field of accounting. This exciting program will assist students, who are residents and attending specific Michigan colleges and universities to achieve their academic and professional goals. DA Advisory Group recognizes the importance of preparing the next generation of leaders in the field of accounting and supports young Chaldean students through their educational journey.    

The Karim and Bernadette Sarafa General Scholarship Fund

The Karim and Bernadette Sarafa General Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to Chaldean undergraduate (freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior) or graduate students pursuing education beyond high school. The Karim and Bernadette Sarafa General Scholarship Fund empowers donors to combine their efforts, pooling their donations to create a combined fund that can go farther to sponsor needs-based students and subsidize their education. All contributions will be acknowledged in the CCF’s Annual Awards Gala Program Book.
