BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Our Behavioral Health program supplies much-needed mental health referral services to refugees and others in Southeast Michigan.

PROJECT LIGHT

Our licensed trilingual therapists provide mental health services, screening, consultation, and therapy based on individual needs to Michigan residents ages 13 years and up, regardless of insurance status.

BREAKING BARRIERS

Provides services, advocacy and skill building to those with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and their caregivers. From facilitating group recreation events to referrals to other service providers, we do our best to help. Our services help those with special needs such as visual or hearing impairments, as well as other learning disabilities. We can also help mediate with Michigan state agencies for those with special needs.

Standing for Braille, English as a Second Language, Acculturation, Mobility Project, this program helps better equip those with visual impairments to live independent lives.

H.E.A.L. Project

Standing for Hard of Hearing, English as a Second Language, American Sign Language and Life Skills Project, this program helps better equip those with hearing impairments to live independent lives.

S.O.A.R. Project

Provides services and resources for older adults: caregiving educational support and activities to enhance healthy living.

C.H.A.I. Project

Standing for Caregivers Helping Aid Initiative Project, this program aims to educate and inform caregivers about the importance of lifestyle, Nutrition, exercise and health care, play when aging.

LIFE SKILLS CENTER

Thomas Denha Main Street provides space for individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and their caregivers to have learning opportunities in real life settings to support the advancement of daily living skills, self-determination/interpersonal skill building and employment skill development.

The Wireless Vision Gymnasium

Allows for fitness programs, recreation for individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and offers ample space for community events.

The Konja Family Art Studio

Offers space for music, dance and art appreciation and expression.

Wild Bill’s Cantina

Supports learning related to developing retail skills, marketing, and merchandising.

First Merchants Bank

Offers space for financial management and knowledge.

Supercuts Barber Shop

Allows for workplace job shadowing, and programming focused on personal care. Stylists provide complimentary salon services for autistic children and individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.
