Macomb Business Awards go to the big screen

May 20, 2025

The 13th annual Macomb Business Awards took to the big screen with a special showing at the AMC Forum 30 in Sterling Heights on May 15.

Nonprofit of the year honors went to the Chaldean Community Foundation. Located in a 30,000 square foot building in Sterling Heights, the CCF served 48,000 people from 70 different countries last year alone.

Mental health, employment, education for adults and children, immigration and services for the disabled are just some of the services offered through the CCF.

The successful expansion of its health and human services center, as well as its attainable housing project, which eliminated blighted property and replaced it with 135 affordable units plus educational and commercial space,  has elevated the CCF to the national stage.
